According to the company, all transactions on Google Tez App are secured by ‘Tez Shield’ that detects fraud, prevents hacking, and verifies identity. The company has partnered with HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and State Bank of India for the backend.

How to Started with Google Tez App:-

Available as a standalone app on Android and iOS, Google Tez App supports several regional languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. Google Tez App is compatible with over 50 banks in the country that support UPI.

Like all UPI-based apps, Google Tez App requires your phone number for adding a bank account. Once the number is verified via one-time password (OTP), the app will request the UPI VPA (Virtual Payment Address) if you’ve created one in the past, else take you through the process of creating a new ID. You can transfer money using the UPI address to anyone who has a UPI-supported bank account. Minimum transaction needs to be ₹50.And there is a limit of ₹1,00,000 in one day across all UPI apps, and 20 transfers in one day.
